10 Days Kenya Classic Safari
This 10 days Safari from Nairobi to the Northern part of the country touring Ol Pejeta, Samburu Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary where you have a chance to visit The Ol Pejeta Chimpanzee Sanctuary then proceeding to Samburu- Lake Nakuru- Amboseli and Masai Mara the land of lions.
Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel after breakfast at around 0730hrs. Depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch is at the lodge. Afternoon game viewing drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is situated on the equator, west of Nanyuki between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Conservancy boasts of the largest Black Rhino sanctuary in East Africa and in 2013 reached a population milestone of 100 black rhinos. It also houses the three remaining Northern White Rhino in the world. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is situated here, and provides a haven for orphaned, abandoned and rescued chimpanzees. It is the only place in Kenya where these great apes can be seen. The Conservancy is host to the “Big Five” among a large selection of other African animals. Early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart for Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras, gerenuk,Beisa oryxes and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. After breakfast proceed for a game drive in this lush and region of north. The water of Ewaso Ny’iro River attracts a profusion of game. This area is known for the rare species of wildlife that are endemic. On this day you can choose to either have a full day game drive from 8am to 4pm, with packed lunch served inside the park or have morning and evening game drive with lunch at the lodge. After breakfast we will drive to Lake Naivasha—the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes. This area is famous for its birdlife. It is a breeding ground for pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants, and many more. You will also find other animals such as hippos, zebras, antelopes, and Colobus monkeys. In the afternoon you’ll take a boat ride along Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island, where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, and many types of birds. You might also see zebras and giraffes close to the lakeshore. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at the Lodge/ camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive that introduces this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 500 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. You will also have the option of visiting a local Masai village (at a cost of US$30 per person not included in the price). All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Depart Masai Mara after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at the Park in time for lunch. In the afternoon a game drive is planned. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

After an early, sumptuous breakfast, you’ll depart for Amboseli National Park, which is truly classic Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the world and topped by one-fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop, vast herds of elephant are accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous animals, including lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo, and wildebeest. You’ll arrive at your preferred choice of accommodation in time for check-in and some delicious lunch. The afternoon will be spent on a game drive in search of the “Big Five” and other animals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the at Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. During the drive, you will have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous bird species — all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park, surrounded by nature. In the evening, return to the lodge to relax and unwind after an exciting day of exploration. On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive in Amboseli, soaking in the last moments of your safari adventure. After breakfast, begin the drive back to Nairobi, which takes about 5hours. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
