Pick up from your Nairobi city hotel or JKIA Airport for a transfer to Wilson airport. Depart Wilson Airport and fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara Serena Safari Lodge has a beautiful hilltop location overlooking the rolling plains and woodlands of the Masai Mara, one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. The annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle takes place across these plains, and even outside of the migration season you can look forward to spectacular sightings.

You can spend your day on a game drive; enjoy a morning bird walk with the lodge’s resident naturalist, or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (village). A great extra is a hot-air balloon safari where you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife below and then descend to a scenic champagne breakfast served in the middle of the bush. In the evening, you can enjoy tribal dancing displays, as well as wildlife and cultural talks.

Styled to mirror the circular motif of a traditional Maasai manyatta, the lodge blends international sophistication with raw African beauty while featuring twin rows of individual rooms, some with views of the famous Mara River. Equally breathtaking sightlines can be enjoyed from the restaurant and bar and rock-enclosed swimming pool. Full day in Masai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five. This includes lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Morning and afternoon game drives shall be offered. There shall be optional visit to a Masai village – one of the most celebrated tribe in Africa for preserving their culture [at extra costs. It’s in this day that we shall be visiting the Mara River to witness the Wildebeests crossing [ in July -September. All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Early morning breakfast, with optional Masai village visit. We also experience the beauty of sunrise which reveals the back drop of Masai Mara which means the dotted hills in Maa Language. Check out and transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. Departure will be at approx. 11:00hrs, you shall arrive at approx. 12:15hs.
