Pick-up from Hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport for early morning flight to Amboseli National Park. Met on arrival at the airstrip and transfer to the Lodge. Lunch. Early afternoon spent at leisure. Late afternoon game drive in the park. The word Amboseli in Masai language means the “place of water”. The park has an endless supply of water from Mount Kilimanjaro and is home to numerous game including vast herds of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and even leopards. Bird life include pelican, bee-eater, king fisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon besides other species. This morning, you will be awakened at dawn and after a cup of tea or coffee you will set out on an early morning game drive. This park is famous for its magnificent view of Mt Kilimanjaro and on a clear morning, you get a chance to photograph the early risers and nocturnal animals against the backdrop of the mountain before it is covered by the clouds. Return to the lodge for breakfast. The rest of the morning spent at leisure enjoying the facilities the lodge has to offer. Lunch. Early afternoon spent at leisure.
